Electronic TENS Pain Relief
I suffered severe back pain for many years until I discovered an alternative way to get rid of pain. I bought a T.E.N.S. machine – I wasn’t overly optimistic but thought I’d have a go. I’m glad I did.
Many sufferers of long term and chronic pain fear becoming addicted to pharmaceutical pain killers which often, over time become less and less effective. Electronic Pain Relief is a safe and easy way to alleviate pain and can be used at any time with no overdosing problems.
Often known by its technical name, T.E.N.S. which stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators, the pain relief is delivered as electrical pulses are sent through electrodes that are stuck to strategically placed nerve areas. The pain is normally felt by signals sent to the brain – the T.E.N.S. system interrupts these signals and breaks the feeling. The stimulation of the various nerve centres is believed to cause the release of endorphins which the body uses naturally to override pain.
Dual channel machines are available that have four electrodes instead of two and provides better coverage over a wide area, particularly useful for pain in the back, shoulders arms or legs.
Electronic Pain Relief has no side effects and isn’t addictive. The only people who should avoid T.E.N.S. equipment are those who rely on an on demand type pacemaker.
T.E.N.S therapy is particularly effective at relieving chronic or acute pain such as back pain, sciatica, sports strains & sprains, muscle injuries and aching joints.
The system can be used for pain in most areas, although electrodes should never be fitted to the front or sides of the neck.
How does Electronic pain Relief actually work
Electrodes are placed on the skin over the appropriate nerve areas. Soothing pulses are sent through the electrodes to the skin and along the nerve fibers. The pulses suppress pain signals to the brain and can be continually controlled as required by the user. Because T.E.N.S. also encourages the body to produce higher levels of its own natural pain killing chemicals called Endorphins and Encephalin it can continue to offer relief for some hours after the electrodes are removed.
Electronic Pain Relief or T.E.N.S. is a very effective treatment for pain. It is used all over the world and recommended by sports coaches, physiotherapy departments, pain clinics, doctors and other medical practitioners.
The lack of addiction problems and the ability to stop taking drugs around the clock has led to many very happy converts.
I, like many others suffered from severe back pain over many years. I tried most things from chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths and many different pain killers. My life changed for the better when I found out about electronic pain relief.
I use a system called a DIGITAL EMS Muscle Stimulator from Promo life. If you are suffering I urge you to take a look yourself.

[...] Everyone will suffer pain at some point in their lives. Grim as this may sound, some pain is necessary – it’s a signal from our brain that something is wrong in our body, something we need to address to protect our health and well-being. It can be caused by anything from a dental cavity to a broken bone to a disease. Once we determine where the pain is coming from, we can diagnose and address the health problem, thus alleviating the pain. [...]
